Guidelines for submitting documents:
1. When submitting documents, the online system generates the necessary forms - Application and
Declaration according to a template, valid only for the Health and Medical Center at the Sofia University. The forms are filled out, signed and done
scan then apply as attachments.
2. Each prospective student scans the required diploma – for secondary education
3. Payment order for paid fee. The application fee is BGN 50.00. The amount is transferred by bank transfer to the FOZ account.
A copy of the payment order is scanned and attached as an attachment when submitting the

- Original diploma for completed high school education, as well as the diploma required to apply for the OCS "master", if they were not provided when submitting the documents.
- Photocopies of diplomas it is not necessary to be notarized. After verification, the originals are returned.
- Identity card;
- Student book - purchased in advance from a specialized university bookstore;
- Directory - 1 pc. (received on site at registration and is completed);
- The student fills in a declaration that he is not studying at another state university for the acquisition of the same or a lower educational qualification degree, in accordance with the requirements of Art. 91, Para. 7, Item 2 of the Law on Higher Education - 1 item. (the form is obtained and completed on the spot upon enrolment);
- Photos – 4 pcs. (with ID card size);
- Medical certificate issued by the personal physician in accordance with the relevant order; (A medical document from a psychiatric clinic is not required)
- Certificates, if required by the student;
- Payment order for first semester fee paid. It is paid by bank transfer to the account of the Faculty of Public Health.
In the payment order the three names and the specialty for which the person is applying must be written!

The annual tuition fees are determined annually by a Decision of the Council of Ministers and are published on the electronic pages of the Faculty of Public Health and of the Medical University-Sofia in the "Fees" section.
*Regarding tuition fees: Please note that the fees published in the Decision of the Council of Ministers are ANNUAL. When submitting your enrollment documents, half the amount paid is required, this is the amount of the semester fee for the first semester of study.

“The Faculty of Public Health is a success in itself, but it has also achieved incredible success. What is the formula for success: a strong leader and a cohesive team. A strong leader is one who has the ability to make ordinary people do extraordinary things.
What is FOZ: an idea product, but also a center for the production of ideas. It is an emanation of an idea, but also its institutionalization. As a generator of ideas, FOZ is directly interested in their materialization. That is why it is necessary to be in close relations with politics (parties, organizations, institutions) and business (private structures, entrepreneurs, managers). Therefore, there must be a long-term anticipatory vision and carefully selected allies.
What, in my opinion, is the mission of the FOZ at this stage:
First of all – creation and development of a modern health policy. Modern health policy is evidence-based health policy. But also the health policy, which has abandoned paternalism and turned its face towards partnership.
In the second place - creation and development of a health business oriented to the health needs of the population.
In third place – adequate health management. Health management, which is a powerful tool for the implementation of a modern health policy".
The Faculty of Public Health is one of the four faculties in the structure of the Medical University - Sofia.
It was created in 2001. with the support of the Stability Pact and in partnership with leading institutions from the countries of the European Union and the World Health Organization.
The faculty is a modern university formation for the introduction of students and doctoral students in the management science specific to health care - policy and management of public health.
The main goals of the Faculty are development of science and practice for public health and management of ideas and resources in health care.
