Biography:
Emilia Naseva was born in Sofia. He graduated from UNSS as a bachelor in economics and master in sociology, and from MU-Sofia as a master in public health and health management. There are two majors – Medical Informatics and Health Management (2008) and Health Economics (2013). In 2013, he defended his thesis for the acquisition of a doctorate in ONS at the Sofia University.
She worked as a sociologist in the Department of Health Promotion at the Metropolitan RZI and in the programs of the Ministry of Health HIV/AIDS Prevention and Control, Improving Tuberculosis Control in Bulgaria and Strengthening the National Tuberculosis Program.
In 2009, after a competition, she was appointed as an assistant at MU-Sofia, and since 2017, after a competition, she holds the position of chief assistant in the Department of Healthcare Economics. He teaches biostatistics to students in the master's programs in medicine and dentistry in Bulgarian and English, as well as medical statistics and informatics in the bachelor's programs in Bulgarian in the specialties of Public Health and Health Management, Health Care Management, Nurse, Midwife, Medical Assistant , Kinesitherapist, and also in the SDO courses.
She participated in three projects funded by the Medical Science Council and was employed as a consultant in three others. She took part in four international projects on HIV prevention (EMIS, SIALON II, EMIS 2017, Cities), in two projects dedicated to vaccine prevention - at the national level with external funding (of which she was the coordinator) and international (ASSET), as well as in an international smoking prevention project.

He is a member of the National Association for Health Policy and Management, the Bulgarian Scientific Society for Public Health, the Balkan Medical Union and the European Public Health Association.
Publications and scientific interests:
Her scientific output includes over 200 scientific publications, including 1 independent monograph, co-authorship in a monograph, co-authorship in 8 studies, 17 chapters of 5 books (two of which are in English) - independently or in co-authorship, co-authorship in two textbooks. She is the author and co-author of over 170 scientific articles published in Bulgarian and foreign peer-reviewed journals, including those with an impact factor and impact rank, on topics related to her scientific interests: biostatistics, sociology, epidemiology, public health, health economics and science . He has more than 70 participations in national and international scientific forums, published as abstracts.
The total impact factor of her publications exceeds 28, the individual 4; together with the impact factor of the published summaries, the total is over 163, the individual over 28.
Her publications have been cited by hundreds of Bulgarian and foreign authors, incl. in dissertation works and international databases: Scopus (73 citations without self-citations), Web of Science (76 citations without self-citations), Google Scholar (284 citations), etc. Her Hirsch citation index in Scopus is 6, in Web of Science – 6, in Google Scholar – 8.
He is a reviewer in the European Journal of Hospital Pharmacy (BMJ publication; IF 1,652).
