The Joint Research Center (JRC) has published a call for internships starting in October 2022. As the Commission's science and knowledge institution, the mission of the Joint Research Center is to support EU policies with independent evidence throughout the policy cycle. The JRC is located in 5 Member States (Belgium, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands and Spain).

The internship location can be one of the following JRC sites: Ispra (Italy), Geel (Belgium), Petten (Netherlands) or Karlsruhe (Germany). JRC is an equal opportunity employer that promotes diversity in its applications.

One of the thematic areas is:

Public health (non-communicable diseases, especially cancer and rare diseases, chemical risk assessments, non-animal methods) & food and feed safety and integrity and nutrition and security and agriculture; Analytical chemistry; nanomaterials; Zero Pollution Ambition: Cheminformatics; One Health (epidemiology, surveillance, health risk assessment)
