The admission of students to the Faculty of Public Health "Prof. Dr. Tsekomir Vodenicharov, MD" (FOH) at MU-Sofia is carried out in the field of higher education 7. Health and Sports, in two professional fields –  7.4. Public health and 7.5. Healthy cares, based on the Regulation on the State Requirements for Admission of Students of the Ministry of Education and Science. The number of places for admission of students is approved by the Council of Ministers.

Faculty of Public Health "prof. Dr. Tsekomir Vodenicharov, MD" at MU-Sofia will comply with all changes resulting from normative acts that came into force after the publication of this information.

Ranking is carried out according to the specialty listed first in the application and according to descending score.

SPECIALTIES OF OX "BACHELOR":

• "Nurse', 'Midwife', 'Physician's Assistant' and 'Physical Therapy' – full-time form of education. Persons with completed secondary education are accepted.

• "Public health and health management" - full-time and part-time form of education. Persons with completed secondary education are accepted.

• "Health Care Management' - full-time and part-time form of education. Persons with already  acquired specialty from a professional direction 7.5. "Health care" per degree  "specialist" or "professional bachelor" from medical colleges.

 SPECIALTIES OF THE MASTER'S OC:

• "Public health and health management", "Occupational medicine and work capacity", "Strategic management of pharmaceutical activity", correspondence form of education. Graduates are accepted "bachelor" or "Master".

• "Health Care Management', correspondence form of education. Persons who have – completed higher education of degree  "bachelor" by majors: "Healthcare Management", "Midwife", "Nurse", “Medical Assistant" or persons with an acquired specialty from a professional field 7.5. "Health Care"- "Professional Bachelor of..."  and higher education  "bachelor"  by: "social activities", "social pedagogy", "social management" or "health management"

• "Clinical Trial Management', correspondence form of education. Only graduates are accepted "Master".

• "Public Health and Health Management", "Occupational Medicine and Work Ability" and "Strategic Management of Pharmaceutical Activities" distance learning only accepts students with a completed degree "Master".

SPECIALTIES OF OCS "MASTER" on the basis of Art. 42, para. 1, item 1 letter "a" of the Higher Education Act and Decisions of the Academic Council of MU-Sofia of 01.07.2014 and 11.02.2016, full-time form of education:

• "Medical Rehabilitation and Balneology” – for degree holders  "professional bachelor" from medical colleges with a professional qualification  "rehabilitator".

• "Aesthetic care" - for persons who have completed a degree  "professional bachelor"  from medical colleges with professional qualifications  "medical cosmetics". 

For training at the Faculty of Public Health "Prof. Dr. Tsekomir Vodenicharov, MD" individuals can also apply who are:

• foreigners permanently residing in the country;

• have dual citizenship (one of which is Bulgarian), permanently residing in the country;

• are not serving sentences at the beginning of the school year;

• entitled under Art. 68, para. 3, (items 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6) of the Law on Higher Education;

• students of "Health Care Management", "Public Health and Health Management", "Nurse", "Midwife", "Physical Assistant", "Physical Therapy", in other higher medical schools in the country and wish to transfer to Sofia;

• students who apply for restoration of student rights.
