STUDY MATERIALS FOR PREPARATION FOR THE CANDIDATE EXAM IN SOCIAL MEDICINE
Dear prospective students,
Before you is a collection of materials for preparing for the candidate student exam in social medicine. The materials have been prepared in an electronic version on the main sections of social medicine that you studied in medical colleges.
In compiling the materials, we have used lecture presentations prepared by us at the Department of Social Medicine and summarized materials from textbooks and teaching aids on social medicine published by various author teams in the last 10 years. You can use these textbooks in your preparation.
The study materials are structured by topics, which you will find in the table of contents. Each topic has a table of contents, a statement of the main theses, and final slides with sample questions for self-preparation for the test and the oral exam.
Pay attention to the basic concepts, trends in public health indicators in the world and in Bulgaria, basic organizational principles, classifications, characteristics, nomenclatures.
