GPA FOR APPLICATION FOR THE ACADEMIC YEAR 2023/2024 TO THE FACULTY OF PUBLIC HEALTH "PROF. DR. TSEKOMIR VODENICHAROV, DMN"

BACHELOR'S DEGREE EDUCATION IN SPECIALTIES OF THE BACHELOR'S DEGREE:

  1. For majors "Nurse", "Midwife", "Physician Assistant" and "Physical Therapy" You apply with a high school diploma.

The final score is formed by:

The Bulgarian language assessment from the DZI

(or the Bulgarian language grade from the course of study from the secondary education diploma)

+

Biology assessment from the DZI 

(or the biology grade from the course of study from the secondary education diploma)

+

average grade point average from the secondary education diploma.

Ranking in each of the above-mentioned specialties is done according to the first desired specialty indicated in the application and in descending order of score.

Only individuals who indicated this specialty in first place are ranked in descending order of score.

Maximum score 18.

  1. For a major "Public Health and Health Management" You apply with a high school diploma.

The final score is formed by:

The Bulgarian language assessment from the DZI

 (or the Bulgarian language grade from the course of study from the secondary education diploma)

+

GPA from high school diploma x 2.

Ranking is carried out according to the form of study indicated in the application form - full-time or part-time, and by descending score.

Maximum score – 18.

 

  1. For a major "Health Care Management" Candidate students take a written exam - a test in Social Medicine and Health Management and a subsequent oral exam.

The Social Medicine and Health Management test contains 40 questions. Each correct answer provides a certain number of points. The points are equated to the six-point system according to criteria that are determined and announced on the day of the exam. Those who receive a low score on the test are not allowed to take the oral exam and do not participate in the ranking. The test results are not subject to review and re-evaluation.

All candidate students with a test score other than a "weak" 2.00 are admitted to the oral exam.

Only admitted and oral exam candidate students participate in the final ranking. The final score is formed as the sum of the test score and the oral exam score. Ranking is carried out according to the form of study indicated in the application form - full-time or part-time and in descending order of score. Maximum score 12.

BACHELOR'S EDUCATION IN SPECIALTIES AT THE "MASTER" COURSE:

For all specialties of the Master's Degree Program at the Faculty of Public Health "Prof. Dr. Tsekomir Vodenicharov, MD", candidate students take an oral exam - an interview on a topic before an examination committee of three habilitated lecturers, according to a specific schedule.

The competitive score is formed by doubling the score from the oral exam. Maximum score 12.
