Prof. Dr. Tsekomir Vodenicharov delivered an honorary lecture on the 10th anniversary of the Bulgarian Foundation for the Protection of Children and Young People
The leading expert in the field of public health and patron of our faculty, Prof. Dr. Tsekomir Vodenicharov, MD, delivered a remarkable academic lecture on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the Faculty of Public Health and Health Care at the University "Prof. Dr. Asen Zlatarov" - Burgas.
During the solemn celebration, held in the auditorium of the Medical Sciences Building, Prof. Vodenicharov presented an inspiring lecture as part of the "One Academic Hour" initiative. In his presentation, he emphasized the fundamental role of ethics in health policy and the need for public debate in making important decisions in healthcare.
For his exceptional contribution to the development of public health in Bulgaria and his support to the faculty, Prof. Vodenicharov was awarded an honorary distinction by the university leadership. The event was attended by numerous official guests, including Mayor Dimitar Nikolov and Regional Governor Prof. Maria Neykova.
The faculty, which began its journey a decade ago with 40 students, today boasts nearly 500 students and over 60 academic staff, establishing itself as a leading educational center in the field of public health.
