On March 22, 2025, lecturers and students from the Department of Kinesitherapy at the Faculty of Public Health "Prof. Dr. Tsekomir Vodenicharov, MD" at the Medical University - Sofia, including Assoc. Prof. Inna Ivanova and Chief Assistant Professor Elena Zheleva, visited the 12th grade students, Biology profile, at the 22nd Secondary Language School "Georgi S. Rakovski". The purpose of the meeting was to present the specialty "Kinesitherapy", which combines theoretical knowledge and practical skills for working with patients, offering prospects for professional development in a dynamic and significant field.

During the meeting, the opportunities for training in the specialty, which combines fundamental, medical-biological and specialized disciplines, as well as practical internships that prepare students to develop and implement kinesitherapy programs for patients with various diseases, were discussed. The students showed great interest in the prospects for professional realization in the field.

Events like this strengthen the connection between educational institutions and young people by providing information about development opportunities in the field of public health.
