Prof. Roksandra Pamukova-Michaelson, MD

Biography:

Prof. Roksandra Pamukova-Michaelson, MD is the author of innovations in the field of medicine and preventive medicine. Established and managed the "Innovative and Research Center for Biomedicine, Biotechnology and Phytotherapy" since 2016.

Her dissertation is on the topic: "Phytotherapy and nature-friendly lifestyle as part of a complex program for a better quality of life in obese people". Obtained Doctorate in the Department of Preventive Medicine, Faculty of Public Health "Prof. Dr. Tsekomir Vodenicharov, MD" at Medical University - Sofia in 2017, where he started working in 2018.

Membership in organizations:

He is a member of the Management Board of the Union of Inventors in Bulgaria, where he is responsible for international relations, as well as in the Association of European Inventors from 2014 until now.

Since 2015, he has been a member of the Food Industry Union. Since 2017, he has been an observer member of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences and Arts. In 2018, he became a member of the Bulgarian Scientific Society for Public Health, as well as the National Association of Social Gerontology.

Publications and scientific interests:

He is the author of the monographs "Innovative Contribution of the Danube Civilization to European Science, Medicine and Public Health" - BAS Publishing House "Prof. Marin Drinov", Sofia, 2021 and on "History of Medicine, Phytotherapy and Public Health Care" - Central Medical Library, Medical University - Sofia, 2021, as well as over 40 scientific publications and reports.

He is a member of the editorial board of the magazines "Engineering and Science Education" and "Innovative".

He speaks English and Russian.

She has been honored with academic and professional awards, as well as prizes for innovative contribution to medicine in Bulgaria and abroad.
