I was born on 09.02.1960. in Pirdop, Bulgaria

I graduated from high school in 1978  in Sofia.

Prez 1980. i finished The Central Semi-Higher Medical Institute (CPMI) – Sofia, specialty: "Pediatric Nurse" and in September of the same year I started working in II Children's Specialized Hospital - Sofia.

1982.- As a graduate student, I was invited to become a teacher at CPMI.

According to the position of a teacher and the changes in the regulatory framework, I built my qualification as follows:

1987 – semi-higher education in a specialty "Educational and production practice teacher" at the Institute for Practice Teachers "M. I. Kalinin", the city of Sliven;

2000 – higher education with educational qualification degree (OKS) "Bachelor" in specialty "Health Care Manager" and "Practice Lecturer at Medical College" in the Faculty "Sister's Affair" at the Medical University, Sofia;

2002 - educational and qualification degree "Master" in specialty "Pedagogy. Adult education' at Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski";

2010 - educational and qualification degree "Master" in specialty "Health Management", Faculty of Public Health at the Medical University, Sofia;

2014 – dissertation on a topic «Socially significant aspects of health care for the chronically ill at home», I obtained an educational and qualification degree doctor in the field of higher education 7. Health care and sports, by professional direction 7.4. Public Health and Doctoral Program "Social medicine and the organization of health care and pharmacy' to the "Healthcare" department of the Health Ministry at the Medical University - Sofia

2009 - 2012. – I successfully defended my specialty "Medical pedagogy" in the Faculty of Public Health at the Medical University - Sofia.

2015. I won a contest and I'm associate professor in the Department "Health Care" of the Faculty of Public Health at the Medical University - Sofia.

I teach of students with the educational and qualification degree "Bachelor" by specialty "Nurse", "Midwife" and "Physician's Assistant"; OKS "Master" - KZG, ZDH

Thematic scope includes: "General and Specialty Nursing", "Clinical Practice" and "Undergraduate Internship" by specialty "Nursing Care".

Scientific supervisor of more than 20 graduates of the Master's College and two PhD students.

My scientific interests are in the field of continuing health education, special nursing care in pediatrics, special nursing care in ENT and eye diseases, nursing care in homes and others.

I am an author and co-author in over 80 scientific publications in scientific journals and collections, four textbooks and one monograph. I participated with scientific reports and posters at academic and scientific forums, scientific and technological sections, academic meetings for the exchange of experience and seminars, including Erasmus+. Participant in 5 GRANT projects, two of which I am the lead researcher.

I am a member of: the Bulgarian Association of Healthcare Professionals; Interdisciplinary Civil Academy - INGA; Scientific Society of Medical Education, BNDOZ.

I am married and have two grown children.
