Prof. Nadka Nikolova Vasileva, PhD, was born in 1969 in Sofia. In 1990, she graduated from the Semi-Higher Medical Institute (PMI) - Sofia, majoring in "nurse" - general profile and worked at the Rehabilitation Center for Children with Diabetes, National Institute of Pediatrics, Sofia. In 1995, she was appointed as a teacher at the Medical College "J. Filaretova", and since 2008 at the Faculty of Public Health - Sofia.
In 1999, he graduated from Southwestern University "Neofit Rilski" - Blagoevgrad with a master's degree in "Social Psychology".
In 2010, he acquired a second master's degree in "Public Health and Health Management" at the Faculty of Health, Medical Education - Sofia, and in 2013, he acquired the specialty "Medical Pedagogy" at the Medical Faculty, Medical Education - Sofia.
He holds an educational and scientific degree "doctor" since 2014, and since 2015 he is an "associate professor" in the Department of "Health Care".
In 2017, he acquired a third master's degree in "Health Care Management" at the Medical School of Health, MU - Sofia.
Associate Professor Nadka Vasileva, MD teaches students with a Bachelor's degree in Nursing and a Master's degree in Clinical Health Care.
She participated in the following projects:
Member of the Bulgarian Association of Health Care Professionals (BAPZG), the Bulgarian National Association for Public Health (BNDOZ), the Scientific Society for Medical Education (NMDO) and the Interdisciplinary Civil Academy (INGA).
Prof. Nadka Vasileva's scientific interests are outlined in the following main areas - research of motivation programs and selection of basic motivational incentives for choosing and practicing the nursing profession; use and application of innovative approaches in teaching nursing students in various clinical disciplines; theoretical and practical foundations of nursing care;
In 2021, she took part in publications in a foreign publication: Teaching and methodological manual: "Theoretical and practical aspects of complex support of children with developmental deviations (Expert work of specialists in Russia and Bulgaria)" Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation, "Zabaikal State University" , «Center of psychological-pedagogical, medical and social assistance «Dar» Zabaikalsk region», Chita.
Author and co-author of over 100 scientific publications, posters at scientific forums, 3 textbooks and 1 monograph. There are over 200 citations.
