Assoc. Delyana Petrova Hadjideleva, dm

Associate Professor Delyana Hadjideleva was born on 04/02/1958 in the city of Sofia.

In 1975, she graduated from basic education "Midwife" at Central Medical University - Sofia. From 1979 to 2003, she worked as a midwife in a delivery room, with a professional qualification in "Anesthesiology, resuscitation and intensive therapy" at PSAGBAL "Sveta Sofia" EAD. In 2003, she was appointed as a teacher at MK "Yordanka Filaretova" in the specialty "Midwife". In 2004, he acquired the Master's degree in Public Health and Management, and in 2007, the Master's degree in Health Care Management. Since 2007, she has been reassigned to the Department of Health Care at the Faculty of Public Health at the Medical University - Sofia and teaches students with the educational qualifications of "Bachelor" and "Master". In 2014, he defended his dissertation "Communications in midwifery care" and received the scientific degree "Doctor of Medicine" in the scientific specialty "Social Medicine and Organization of Health Care and Pharmacy". In 2016, she acquired the scientific title of associate professor and was reassigned to the same department after a competition. He has a specialty in medical pedagogy. Prof. Hadjideleva is a leading researcher in a scientific project under GRANT-2018 and is a participant in 6 other research projects funded by the Medical Science Council at the Sofia University

Associate Professor Hadjideleva's academic and teaching activities are in the field of her professional training and scientific interests. Her teaching load includes teaching the profiled disciplines in the undergraduate programs of Midwifery and Nursing, and in the master's programs in Health Care Management and Healthy and Dietetic Nutrition. He is the scientific supervisor of 6 doctoral students, of whom two have successfully defended their defense.

He is a member of a number of authoritative scientific and professional organizations: Bulgarian Association of Health Care Professionals (BAHPA); Bulgarian Scientific Society of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Midwives Section (BNDAG); The Bulgarian Scientific Society for Public Health (BNDOS); Bulgarian Scientific Society for Medical Education;

Her research interests are in obstetrics and gynecology, reproductive health, neonatology, professional communication in midwifery care, the motivation and role of health care professionals, conflict management, and midwifery student training. He is the author of the monograph "Communicative Competence in Midwifery Care" and co-author of the teaching aid "Practicum on Midwifery Care in Normal Pregnancy, Normal Birth and Normal Puerperium". He has over 80 scientific publications and 30 citations in specialized scientific Bulgarian and foreign publications and participates in a number of national and international academic forums.

He participates in the editorial board of the magazine "Sister's Case", published by the CMB of the MU - Sofia. He is a reviewer of articles in the journal "Health Care" of the BAPZG.
