Rev. Antoineta Yordanova Dimitrov

Teacher Antoineta Yordanova Dimitrova was born in 1964 in Samokov. In 1982, he completed his secondary education at Polytechnic High School with extended study of the Russian language - Samokov. She graduated in the specialty "Midwife" at Medical College - Sofia in 1985. In 2006, he obtained a bachelor's degree in "Healthcare and health care management" at the National University of Sofia - Sofia. In 2013, he graduated from OCS "Master", specialty "Health Care Management" at MU - FOZ "Prof. Dr. Tsekomir Vodenicharov, PhD, Sofia. In 2018 acquires the specialty "Public Health" at the MU - FOZ "Prof. Dr. Tsekomir Vodenicharov, MD" - Sofia.

From 1985 to 2004, he worked in the 3rd City Hospital and PSAGBAL "St. Sofia" EAD, as a midwife in a delivery room. From 2004 to 2011 holds the position of senior midwife of the maternity ward, and from 2011 to 2013 she is the chief midwife of PSAGBAL "St. Sofia" EAD. After passing a competition in 2013. was appointed as a lecturer in the "Health Care" Department of the Faculty of Health "Prof. Dr. Tsekomir Vodenicharov, MD" at the Sofia University.

Member of: Bulgarian Association of Health Care Professionals; The Bulgarian Scientific Society of Obstetrics and Gynecology, midwives section; Scientific Society of Medical Education; Bulgarian Scientific Society of Public Health.

Prof. Antoineta Dimitrova's scientific interests are in the field of obstetrics and gynecology, reproductive health and menopause, neonatology, health care and the education of students with the educational and qualification degree "Bachelor" in the specialty "Midwife". There are over 40 publications in Bulgarian and international scientific publications, participation in scientific forums, national and international conferences and congresses. Participates in a team of authors in the publication of a study aid for students of the specialty "Midwifery" - "Practical course on obstetric care in normal pregnancy, normal birth and normal puerperium". He is a member of the research teams of a number of "GRANT" projects, funded by Medical University - Sofia, Medical Science Council.
