Asst. Boyan Spasov

Biography

Boyan Biserov Spasov born on 28 April 1995 in Sofia is a specialist in the field of kinesiotherapy and rehabilitation. He graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Kinesiotherapy at the Medical University - Sofia, as well as a Master's Degree in Kinesiotherapy in Neurology and Psychiatry at the National Sports Academy "Vasil Levski". To date, he is studying a Master's degree in Public Health and Health Management at the Medical University - Sofia. 

He has extensive practical experience gained in various healthcare institutions. He has worked as a kinesiotherapist in SBR-Yasen Bankya, as well as in XVIII-DCC in Sofia, where he applied various physiotherapy and rehabilitation methods. He has clinical and work experience in multi-profile hospitals for active treatment and specialized hospitals for rehabilitation. He specializes in working with children with neurological problems, as well as developing individual rehabilitation programs including kinesiotherapy, electrotherapy, heat therapy, hydrotherapy and light therapy. He has been involved in organizing and implementing work schedules and rehabilitation plans.

Publications and scientific interests

Boyan Spasov's main research interests are in the field of rehabilitation and physiotherapy, with an emphasis on innovative methods for the recovery of patients with various musculoskeletal and neurological problems. He is interested in new approaches in kinesiotherapy and the impact of physiotherapy methods on the quality of life of patients. No scientific publications or editorial board memberships are currently noted.

Boyan Spasov is a member of the Bulgarian Association of Health Care Professionals, actively following the development of professional standards and innovations in the field of rehabilitation.
