The mission of the Department of Kinesitherapy is in line with that of the Faculty of Public Health "Prof. Dr. Tsekomir Vodenicharov, MD", to create highly qualified specialists in the field of public health, capable of developing and applying their knowledge and skills in the field of Kinesitherapy, with a view to improving the health status of the population.

Training of specialists capable of performing high-quality work, applying a holistic approach to the patient and his problems in healthcare practice. Building skills for independent professional work, communication and team interaction in planning, organizing and conducting
of kinesitherapy activities in preventive, curative and rehabilitation practice for healthy and sick people in every period of their life. Formation and development of personal qualities significant for the profession of kinesitherapist, as well as an attitude towards training, self-education and self-improvement throughout life, for developing abilities for adaptation, mobility and efficiency in the conditions of a market economy and free movement of specialists in the EU.
