As. Dr. Polina Angelova, MD

Biography

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Polina Angelova graduated as a Master of Medicine at the Medical University - Sofia in 2019.

Since 2020, after a successful competition, he has held the academic position of "assistant" at the Department of Social and Preventive Medicine and Disaster Medicine at the Faculty of Public Health "Prof. Dr. Tsekomir Vodenicharov, MD", MU-Sofia. He obtained a specialty in Disaster Medicine in 2024.

He is a full-time doctoral student in the scientific specialty "Disaster Medicine" at the Department of Social and Preventive Medicine and Disaster Medicine. 

Publications and research interests

Dr. Polina Angelova's scientific interests are in the field of preventive medicine, risk management in extreme situations, and medical insurance in disasters, accidents, and catastrophes. 

Dr. Angelova has scientific publications in national and international collections, scientific journals, as well as participation in scientific conferences in the field of medical insurance and protection of the population in disasters, preventive medicine, public health and health management.
