Biography

Desislava Avramova Todorova is a Master of Medicine, graduated from the Medical University - Sofia, where she started working at the Faculty of Public Health as an assistant, later as a chief assistant, and is currently an associate professor of Disaster Medicine in the Department of "Social and Preventive Medicine and Disaster Medicine" at the "Prof. Dr. Ts. Vodenicharov, MD" Medical Center. 

He has a degree in "Disaster Medicine" as well as in "Social Medicine and Health Management" and has more than 20 years of experience in teaching and research in the field of disaster medicine, population protection and disaster management. 

Publications and research interests

Assoc. Prof. D. Todorova is an author and co-author of books and teaching materials for students and specialists and has more than 80 publications in national and international collections, scientific journals, as well as participation in scientific conferences in the field of population protection in disasters, preventive medicine, public health and health management.

D. Todorova is a member of the Bulgarian Society of Disaster Medicine. Member of the National Association of Health Policy and Management. Member of the Union of Scientists in Bulgaria. Member of the Bulgarian Scientific Society of Public Health.
