Assoc. Prof. Antonia Trendafilova, MD

Biography

Antonia Trandeva Trendafilova, dm is an associate professor at the Faculty of Public Health "Prof. Dr. Tsekomir Vodenicharov, MD" at the Medical University-Sofia, Department of "Social and Preventive Medicine and Medicine of Disaster Situations".

Her research interests are in the field of pedagogy, in particular medical pedagogy, suicidology, health management and social medicine.

He is a member of the following organizations: National Association for Health Policy and Management, Bulgarian Scientific Society for Public Health, Scientific Society for Medical Education.

He is a lecturer in pedagogy, medical pedagogy, child pedagogy and psychology, medical psychology, applied psychology, psychology, methodology of health training and education. He has over 70 scientific publications in Bulgarian and international journals.

He is the author of the books: "Training in Professional Communication for Medical Specialists", "Prevention of Suicidal Behavior in Minors", "Medical Sociology and the Information Society", and is co-author of "Textbook of Child Pedagogy and Psychology for Students of the "Health Care" Department at Medical Universities".
