Biography

Antonia Trandeva Trendafilova, PhD is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Public Health "Prof. Dr. Tsekomir Vodenicharov, MD" at the Medical University-Sofia, Department of Social and Preventive Medicine and Disaster Medicine.

Her research interests are in the field of pedagogy, in particular medical pedagogy, suicidology, health management and social medicine.

She is a member of the following organizations: National Association of Health Policy and Management, Bulgarian Scientific Society of Public Health, Scientific Society of Medical Education.

She is a lecturer in pedagogy, medical pedagogy, child pedagogy and psychology, medical psychology, applied psychology, psychology, methodology of health training and education. She is a member of the following organizations: National Association of Health Policy and Management, Bulgarian Scientific Society of Public Health, Scientific Society of Medical Education. She is a lecturer in pedagogy, medical pedagogy, child pedagogy and psychology, medical psychology, applied psychology, psychology, methodology of health training and education. She has over 70 scientific publications in Bulgarian and international journals.

She is the author of the books: "Training in Professional Communication of Medical Professionals", "Prevention of Suicidal Behavior in Minors", "Medical Sociology and the Information Society is a co-author of the "Textbook of Child Pedagogy and Psychology for Students in the Department of Health Care at Medical Universities".
