Ch. assistant Maria Krasimirova Lazarova, dm

Biography:

He completed his secondary education at 108 ESPU "N. Belovezhdov" - Sofia. He graduated as a bachelor and master in public health and health management at the Faculty of Public Health at the Medical University of Sofia. He successively held the academic positions of assistant and chief assistant in the Department of Health Economics at the Faculty of Public Health, MU-Sofia. He obtained the ONS "doctor" with a dissertation on the topic: "Control in health care as an element of effective management". He has a specialty in Health Economics. 

She participates in two research projects from the GRANT competition. Her activities include conducting exercises for students from the specialties "Public Health and Health Management" - Bachelor's degree in the disciplines Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, Models of Financing in Health Care; specialty "Health Care Management" - Bachelor's and Master's degrees in the discipline Health Economics and specialty "Nursing" - Bachelor's degree in the discipline Informatics. He is very fluent in Russian - written and spoken, and in conversational English. 

Publications and scientific interests:

He is the author and co-author of over 30 publications in the country and abroad, referenced in Bulgarian and international publications with over 25 citations. He has interests in the fields of health economics, public health and health management, health system financing models, health care control, social medicine, informatics, psychology and pedagogy.

Member of the National Association for Health Policy and Management and the Bulgarian Scientific Society for Public Health. Collective membership in the European Health Management Association /EHMA/; Collective membership in the European Association of Public Health Schools /ASPHER/; Collective membership in the European Health Management Association /EUPHA/.
