Education

• He completed his secondary education at the German language high school "Goethe" in the city of Burgas;
• In 2001, he acquired the first master's degree at the Faculty of Dental Medicine at the Medical University - Sofia, with the professional qualification of "doctor of dental medicine";
• 2014 - second higher education in the master's program "Public Health and Health Management" at the Faculty of Public Health (PH), MU - Sofia, with the professional qualification "health manager";
• 2019 - completed his third higher education "Management Psychology" at the Faculty of Philosophy of the Neofit Rilski University of Applied Sciences - Blagoevgrad.

          Specializations

• 2019 - recognized first major: "Healthcare Economics" at the Sofia University;
• 2022 - recognized second specialty: "Medical pedagogy" at the Sofia University.

Professional path

• Since 2001 and currently practicing as a dentist in his private practice.

          Academic development

• In 2013, he defended a dissertation on the topic "Research projects as a strategic resource for the development of medical universities. Analysis and perspectives for their management" at the Health and Medical Sciences Institute, Sofia, and obtained a doctorate from the National Academy of Sciences in the scientific specialty "Social Medicine and Organization of Health Care and Pharmacy";
• After a competition, he was appointed as an assistant at the Faculty of Medicine, MU - Sofia, and later held the academic position of "chief assistant" in the department of "Medical Pedagogy", Faculty of Medicine, MU - Sofia, and became the administrative head of the department;
• In 2019, after a competition, he was appointed as an associate professor at the "Medical Pedagogy" department at the Faculty of Health, MU - Sofia;
• Since 2019, he has also been appointed as a teacher at the "Medical Pedagogy" Sector of the Department of Language Education and Sports (DEOS) and was elected as the secretary of the DEOS Council at the Sofia University.

He is the author and co-author of scientific monographs, teaching aids and over 150 scientific articles published in national and international specialized publications, including those with an impact factor.

Delivers reports at national and international scientific forums, symposia and congresses.

He is a participant in a number of scientific research projects - two funded by the Scientific Research Fund of the Ministry of Education and Culture and two by the Medical Science Council at the Medical University - Sofia. He is a mentor for the "Student Practices" project, implemented under the OP "Development of Human Resources" and co-financed by the European Social Fund of the European Union.

He is a member of prestigious professional organizations and associations: the General Assembly of MU - Sofia, the National Association for Health Policy and Management, the Bulgarian Dental Union, the Bulgarian Scientific Society for Public Health, the Bulgarian Scientific Dental Society, the Bulgarian Society for Medical Education, etc.
