Assistant Iliana Ivanova Sokolova

Assistant Iliana Sokolova was born in 1976. in the city of Sofia. Graduated 22nd secondary school "G. S. Rakovski" - Sofia in 1994. She graduated in the specialty "Midwife" at Medical College - Sofia in 1998. In 2004, he graduated from the "Bachelor's College" in the specialty "Social Activities" at VTU - Faculty of Economics - Veliko Tarnovo. In 2012, he graduated from OCS "Master", specialty "Health Care Management" at MU - FOZ "Prof. Dr. Tsekomir Vodenicharov, PhD, Sofia. In 2018 acquires the specialty "Public Health" at the MU - FOZ "Prof. Dr. Tsekomir Vodenicharov, MD" - Sofia.

Works at PSAGBAL "St. Sofia" EAD, SBALAG "Mother's Home" EAD as a midwife in the delivery room and KAIL from 1998 - 2016. She held the position of senior midwife of the postpartum ward from 2012 to 2013. After passing a competition in 2016. was appointed as a teacher, and in 2020 she held the position of "Assistant" in the Department of Health Care of the Health Care Institute "Prof. Dr. Tsekomir Vodenicharov, MD" at the Sofia University. He speaks English and Russian.

Professional and scientific interests focused in the field of student education and health care in obstetrics and gynecology, anesthesiology and intensive care,. Participated in more than 20 scientific publications in the field of obstetric care for pregnant women and women in labor in Bulgarian and international publications, including independently and in a team. He is a member of the research teams of a number of "GRANT" projects, funded by Medical University - Sofia, Medical Science Council. He is a participant in congresses, symposia, forums and conferences in the country and abroad, trainings in the field of health care, as well as practices conducted under the EU program "ERASMUS+".
