Associate Professor Antoaneta Zografova Terzieva, dm

Born in 1966 in Sofia. In 1990, she graduated from the Semi-Higher Medical Institute (PMI) - Sofia, majoring in "nursing" - general profile and worked at the "Alexandrovska" Medical College in the specialty until 1995, when she was appointed as a teacher at the Medical College "Y. Filaretova", and since 2007 at the Faculty of Public Health - Sofia.

In 1999, he graduated as a bachelor at the University of St. Kliment Ohridski" in the specialty "Pedagogy of children with neurosomatic diseases", and in 2001 he acquired a master's degree in "Special Pedagogy".

In 2009, he acquired a second master's degree in "Public Health and Health Management", and in 2012, he acquired a specialty in "Medical Pedagogy" at the Medical University of Sofia. 

He holds the educational and scientific degree "doctor" since 2014, and since 2015 he is an "associate professor" in the Department of "Health Care" - FOZ, MU - Sofia.

In 2017, he acquired a third master's degree in "Health Care Management" at the Medical School of Health, MU - Sofia.

Associate Professor Antoaneta Terzieva, MD teaches students with the educational and qualification degree "Bachelor" in the specialties "Nurse" and "Medical Assistant" and the degree "Master" in the specialty "Clinical Health Care".   

Involvementit's the shaft c the following projects: 

1. Project of "PROCTER & GAMBLE", MOH and MNO - National educational program all about puberty, as a lecturer.
2. A project financed by the Medical University of Sofia under the GRANT 2016 program, on the topic: "Creation of a standard model for manipulative technique in practical training in nursing and midwifery care."
3. A project financed by the Medical University of Sofia under the "GRAND - 2017" program, on the topic: "Creation of a simulation laboratory for intravenous therapy".
4. A project financed by the Ministry of Health of the Medical University - Sofia under the "GRAND - 2018" program, on the topic: "Information and training of nurses and students of the specialty "Nursing", about aggression and violence in health care".

She was trained as a trainer in the Bulgarian-Swiss Hospital Hygiene Program and training from the University of New Hampshire - Department of Nursing on "Clinical Nursing Leadership and Planning for the Future of Nursing Practice".

Member of the Bulgarian Association of Health Care Professionals (BAPZG), the Bulgarian National Association for Public Health (BNDOZ), the Scientific Society for Medical Education (NMDO) and the Interdisciplinary Civil Academy (INGA).  

The scientific interests of Associate Professor Antoaneta Terzieva are outlined in the following main areas - care needs, training and prevention of complications in special nursing care; methodological basis and approaches to the care of children with developmental abnormalities, innovative approaches in the university education of nurses and medical assistants; management and organizational problems in the activity of teams in the implementation of health care.

In 2021, she took part in publications in a foreign publication: Teaching and methodological manual: "Theoretical and practical aspects of complex support of children with developmental deviations (Expert work of specialists in Russia and Bulgaria)" Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation, "Zabaikal State University" , «Center of psychological-pedagogical, medical and social assistance «Dar» Zabaikalsk region», Chita.

Author and co-author of over 100 scientific publications, posters at scientific forums, 3 textbooks and 1 monograph. There are over 200 citations.
