Representatives of the Health and Welfare Fund were honored at the annual awards of MU-Sofia
At a solemn ceremony in the Aula of the Medical University of Sofia "Mother's Home", the "Student of the Year" and "Favorite Lecturer of the Year" awards were presented to the Medical University of Sofia for 2024.
Hristo Ivanov Mihaylov, a 4th year student, majoring in Kinesitherapy, was honored as Student of the Year at the Faculty of Public Health "Prof. Dr. Tsekomir Vodenicharov, MD". The award was presented by Prof. Alexandrina Vodenicharova, Dean of the Faculty of Public Health.
In the category "Favorite MU-Sofia Lecturer in the Field of Medical and Social Sciences" Prof. Delyana Hadzhideleva, MD, Deputy Director of the "Yordanka Filaretova" Medical College-Sofia was awarded.
The traditional competition, organized by the Student Council at MU-Sofia, honors the most deserving students for their academic achievements and contribution to the university community, as well as the professors most approved by the students.
In his greeting to the awardees, the Rector, Prof. Boycho Landzhov, MD, emphasized the significance of the recognition of the hard work and dedication of both students and faculty, as an important incentive for the future development of the university.
