FOZ with a key role in the "Air for Health" initiative
On the occasion of the upcoming May 24 - Day of Bulgarian education and culture and of Slavic writing, the Faculty of Public Health "Prof. Dr. Tsekomir Vodenicharov, Ph.D. together with the Student Council and the Student Network "Air for Health" organized the improvement of the green areas in front of the Central Medical Library.
The initiative involved planting decorative willow, birch and various flowers in the garden space in front of the library entrance.
Foreign students, participants in the conference "How to make the university green?", organized by the Faculty of Public Health under the Erasmus+ program, were also involved in the landscaping.
The event is another manifestation of the academic community from the Faculty of Public Health, aimed at improving the environment and the conditions for training and scientific activity, as well as at strengthening international cooperation in the field of ecology and sustainable development.
