Visit to Universidad Nacional Noroeste Buenos Aires - UNNOBA

From April 11 to 15, the Universidad Nacional Noroeste Buenos Aires - UNNOBA hosted an institutional visit of a delegation from the Medical University - Sofia, Bulgaria.

Gaston Crupi and Maria Forneris from International Relations of the University of Argentina met with Prof. Antonia Yanakieva, MD (Head of the Department of Health Technology Assessment and Coordinator of the Erasmus+ Program) and Assoc. Alexandrina Vodenicharova, MD (Head of the Department of Bioethics and deputy dean for academic activities) from the Faculty of Public Health "Prof. Dr. Tsekomir Vodenicharov, PhD".

In addition, they held meetings with the Academic Secretary, Ms. Pilar Traverso, and colleagues from the Academic Institute of Human Resources (IADH): Director Maria Monica Lazaro, Academic Secretary Graciela Jiménez and the Director of the Department of Humanities, Belisa Martino. At this meeting, they toured the new IADH Nursing Simulation Laboratory facilities.

The purpose of the visit was to get to know UNNOBA and to explore cooperation actions and joint projects of common interest in the field of nursing and public health, in the framework of a new call for proposals of the Erasmus+ programme.

UNNOBA and Medical University - Sofia, Faculty of Public Health signed the cooperation agreement in 2019, through which they cooperate in the field of teaching and science.

During their stay, they also visited the Centro Clinic, where they met the Medical Director and the Head Nurse.

Programmatic, educational and cultural exchange activities with foreign universities represent an opportunity for familiarization and cooperation with diverse cultures, educational programs and learning methods at all levels of academic life. In the global society, these are actions that respond to the demand for university development within the framework of institutional internationalization.
