Antonia Trandeva Trendafilova, dm is an associate professor at the Faculty of Public Health "prof. Dr. Tsekomir Vodenicharov, MD" at Medical University-Sofia, Department of "Medical Pedagogy".

Her research interests are in the field of pedagogy, in particular medical pedagogy, suicidology, health management and social medicine.

He is a member of the following organizations: National Association for Health Policy and Management, Bulgarian Scientific Society for Public Health, Scientific Society for Medical Education.

He is a teacher of pedagogy, medical pedagogy, child pedagogy and psychology, medical psychology, applied psychology, psychology, methodology of health education and education. There are over 60 scientific publications in Bulgarian and international publications.

He is the author of the books: Training in professional communication of medical specialists, Prevention of suicidal behavior in minors, Medical sociology and the information society, co-author of a textbook on child pedagogy and psychology for students from the "Health care" department at medical universities.
