Assoc. Ik. Dorothea Shtereva-Tzuni, dm

Associate Professor Dorothea Shtereva-Tzuni, MD, graduated from UNSS - Sofia in 1995, majoring in "Accounting and Control". In 1999, after successfully completing a course, he received a license from the Privatization Agency as an Appraiser of all state and municipal enterprises, converted and not converted into commercial companies. In 2006, he completed his second master's degree in "Public Health and Health Management" at the Faculty of Public Health, Sofia University. Since 2011, he has been majoring in Healthcare Economics. In 2012, after a successfully defended dissertation, he received the educational and scientific degree "doctor" in the scientific specialty "Social medicine and organization of health care and pharmacy". Her academic career began as an assistant (2007) at the Health and Medical Sciences Institute, Sofia University, and in 2014 she was elected as an associate professor at the Department of Health Economics. Prof. Dorothea Shtereva-Tzuni has repeatedly participated with reports and posters at international symposia and conferences. He is a participant in the INTERREG III International Project "Creation of Cross-Border Cooperation Network for Research, Education and Training in Public Health of Bulgaria and Greece Cross-Border Region" - 2008. He is the author and co-author of monographs of more than 40 publications, on Bulgarian, English and Russian languages in our and international journals, with interests in the field of health economics, health care financing, health policy and management, economic analysis in health care, financing of health service providers, etc. Prof. Dorothea Shtereva-Tzuni teaches "Introduction to economic knowledge", "Economics of health care", "Models of financing health systems" and others. of the students, as well as of the specialists in the courses in SDO, supervisor and reviewer of graduates from the bachelor's and master's programs of the Faculty of Public Health, MU-Sofia. He is a member of the National Association for Health Policy and Management.
