Faculty of Public Health "Prof. Dr. Tsekomir Vodenicharov, MD" at MU-Sofia announces a competition for participation in the "National Program for Funding Young Scientists and Postdoctoral Fellows" in accordance with Decision No. 577 of 17.08.2018 of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Bulgaria.

The following can apply for the project:

Persons from the academic staff of the FOZ "Prof. Dr. Tsekomir Vodenicharov, Ph.D., MK "Yordanka Filaretova", Branch "Prof. Dr. Ivan Mitev" - Vratsa and DEOS on a basic employment contract, meeting the definition of "young scientist" - up to 10 years after acquiring the first OCS "master"

REQUIREMENTS FOR YOUNG SCIENTIST CANDIDATES

1. Acquired the first educational and qualification degree "Master".
2. The period of acquisition of the first educational and qualification degree "Master" is up to 10 years (considered from the date of submission of the application form)
3. The candidate not to receive additional remuneration or additional scholarships under other similar programs with national funding, EU funding or other donor programs.
4. Accounting of the spent funds provided under the program
5. Reporting of the activities performed by each participant in the program

FOR NEW PROGRAM PARTICIPANTS

1. Application to the Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences «Prof. Dr. Tsekomir Vodenicharov, Ph.D., MU-Sofia for applying to the National Scientific Program "Young Scientists and Postdoctoral Students";
2. Declaration by model;
3. European CV format;
4. Diploma for completed higher education with acquired educational and scientific degree "Master" / first acquired /
5. A cover letter, including information on areas of scientific interest;
6. Description of the applicant's previous scientific work;
7. List of scientific publications of which the candidate is the author
8. List of scientific projects in which the candidate participated (documents certifying the candidate's participation)
9. Abstract and work plan for the future research work, agreed with the Head of the relevant department;
10. Other materials proving the professional qualities of the candidate (at his discretion);
11. Awards or certificates.

FOR CONTINUED PARTICIPATION IN THE PROGRAM

1. Application to the Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences «Prof. Dr. Tsekomir Vodenicharov, Ph.D., MU-Sofia for applying to the National Scientific Program "Young Scientists and Postdoctoral Students";
2. Declaration by model;
3. Abstract and work plan for the future research work, agreed with the Head of the relevant department;

Persons meeting the definition of "postdoctoral student" - up to 5 years after obtaining the ONS "doctor".

REQUIREMENTS FOR "POST DOCTORAL STUDENTS" CANDIDATES

1. Acquired first educational and scientific degree "Doctor"
2. The period of acquisition of the first educational-scientific degree "doctor" is up to 5 years (considered from the date of submission of the application form).
3. The candidate not to receive additional remuneration or additional scholarships under other similar programs with national funding, EU funding or other donor programs.
4. Accounting of the spent funds provided under the program
5. Reporting of the activities performed by each participant in the program

IMPORTANT!

FOR ALL PARTICIPANTS IN THE NATIONAL PROGRAM "YOUNG SCIENTISTS AND POSTDOCTORAL STUDENTS" - THE TERM OF APPOINTMENT UNDER THE PROGRAM IS NOT ALLOWED TO BE SHORTER THAN 6 MONTHS

The documents are submitted from 18.01.2021 to 16.00 on 01.02.2021 to the Registry of the FOH, room 50. For inquiries, the FOH science sector.
