At a solemn ceremony in the Aula of the University of Applied Sciences and Arts, held on December 13, 2024, 299 bachelors and masters from the Faculty of Public Health "Prof. Dr. Tsekomir Vodenicharov, MD" received their higher education diplomas.

In her greeting to the graduates, the Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences, Prof. Alexandrina Vodenicharova, expressed gratitude to all the lecturers and staff of the faculty "for their achievements to date and their contribution to preserving academic traditions." She wished the graduates: 

"Be proud of your education, love your work, and be dedicated."

Prof. Dr. Tsekomir Vodenicharov, MD, delivered an emotional message to the graduates, advising them to be active in determining their professional development. “Put a little more attention into your daily life – to your patients, to the people you work with. This attention will come back to you,” he emphasized.

The Class of 2024 includes specialists from the following fields:

Bachelors:

• 87 nurses
• 24 midwives
• 12 physician assistants
• 20 physiotherapists
• 28 public health specialists
• 28 healthcare management specialists

Masters:

100 specialists in the programs:

• Occupational medicine and work capacity
• Public Health and Health Management
• Strategic management of pharmaceutical activities
• Healthcare Management
• Clinical Trial Management

On behalf of the graduates, Teodora Kumanova from the Nursing major thanked the teachers for their work and the knowledge they imparted.

The ceremony was attended by official guests from the academic leadership of MU-Sofia, representatives of partner organizations and healthcare facilities.
