For a major "Nurse" students are accepted for regular form of education, after completing secondary education.
By specialty "Nurse" students study general and special nursing care, medico-biological and clinical disciplines and humanities - medical psychology, ethics, sociology, health law, etc.
The training takes place only in regular form with duration 4 years, 8 semesters – 240 credits, according to modern curricula and programs that meet the uniform state requirements and European standards.
Graduates of the specialty can practice under the conditions of hospital care and outside hospital facilities independently or in a team, in nurseries and kindergartens. They find successful implementation in the country and abroad.
COMPETITIVE EXAMINATION
Candidate students for the "Nurse" specialty, they take a written exam (test) in Ethics.
The Ethics test will be held on 10.07.2021 at 10.00 a.m. lasting 1 hour.

Each correct answer provides a certain number of points. The equalization of points to the six-point system is carried out according to criteria that are determined and announced on the day of the exam. The results of the test are not subject to revision and re-evaluation.

FORMATION OF THE FINAL SCORE AND CLASSIFICATION
Ranking is done in descending order of scores. The final score is formed by doubling the score from the written exam. Maximum score 12.
For a major "Midwife" students are accepted for regular form of education, after completing secondary education.
By specialty "Midwife" students are trained according to a modern curriculum that includes general medical, clinical, special and humanitarian disciplines. The main task of the training is the formation of knowledge, habits and skills in the field of primary prevention, general and special obstetric care for pregnant women, women in labor, women in labor and newborns, for women with gynecological diseases, family planning, etc.
The training takes place only in regular form with duration 4 years, 8 semesters – 240 credits.
Midwifery graduates can work in state, municipal and private healthcare facilities. In the conditions of transition from state healthcare to a health insurance system, the public prestige of the profession is constantly increasing.

The specialty "Medical Assistant" of the OCS "bachelor" is a new, unique medical profession, successor and successor to the paramedic profession.
The training takes place in the field of Health care, only in regular form with duration 4 years, 8 semesters – 240 credits.
In the training process, certain competencies are formed for independent prevention, diagnosis and treatment of diseases in the absence of a doctor.
Students who have completed this specialty can work in Emergency Services, in prisons, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Fire and Emergency Safety, in remote small towns and areas with a shortage of doctors, in schools and kindergartens.

For a major "kinesitherapy" students are accepted for regular form of education, after completing secondary education.
The specialty "kinesitherapy" of the OCS "bachelor" includes fundamental, medico-biological and special disciplines. Practical training is carried out through educational and clinical practice and pre-diploma internship. Their competences include the development and implementation of kinesitherapy programs for diseases clinically diagnosed by a doctor.
The training takes place in regular form with duration 4 years, 8 semesters – 240 credits.
COMPETITIVE EXAMINATION
Candidate students take a written exam (test) in Biology.
The Biology test will be held on 11.07.2020 from 2 p.m., lasting 2 hours.
For the written exam, the student candidate must:

The admission of students to the Faculty of Public Health at the Medical University-Sofia is carried out on the basis of the Ministry of Education and Science's "Regulation on the State Requirements for the Admission of Students to the Higher Schools of the Republic of Bulgaria".
