CANDIDATE STUDENT CAMPAIGN 2020/2021

SPECIALTY "HEALTH AND DIETARY NUTRITION" - MASTER'S DEGREE

The specialty "Healthy and Dietary Nutrition" of an educational and qualification degree "master"* is in a professional direction 7.5. Health Care - Unregulated Professions. The educational and qualification degree "master"* is on the basis of Art. 42, para. 1, item 1 letter «a» of the Higher Education and Research Council and Decision of the AC of MU-Sofia dated 11.02.2016.

Individuals who have completed a "professional bachelor's degree" in the "public health inspector" specialty can apply for this specialty.

Training is in regular form, with duration 4 semesters, 2 years.

The professional qualification "inspector of healthy and dietary nutrition" is acquired, building a new style and way of working and behavior of the medical specialist in health care, in accordance with the requirements of modern socio-medical theory and practice for the promotion of health and prevention of the disease, using a complex approach that includes diet therapy. Students learn an integral approach, which enables them to carry out independently and in a team the promotion of healthy nutrition in different population groups, nutritional prevention of risk groups and individuals - for therapeutic diet education.

COMPETITIVE EXAMINATION

Candidate students lay oral exam in front of an examination committee of three qualified teachers.

The oral exam is conducted as an interview on the topic: "Problems and perspectives of healthy eating".

The oral exam will be held on 14.07.2020 from 09.00 a.m.

FORMATION OF THE FINAL SCORE AND CLASSIFICATION

The competitive score is formed by the grade from the oral exam and the GPA from the graduate diploma "professional bachelor" - specialty "public health inspector", not inferior to "good". Ranking is done in descending order of competition ball. Maximum score 12.

LITERATURE FOR PREPARATION

  1. REGULATION No. 1 of January 22, 2018 on the physiological norms for feeding the population.
  2. Ordinance amending and supplementing Ordinance No. 6 of 2011 on healthy nutrition for children aged 3 to 7 years in childcare facilities.
