Candidates-students submit the following documents online or on-site - in person or through other persons:
Completed Application and Declaration. The documents are according to a model valid only for the Health and Welfare Department at MU-Sofia. When submitting documents on the spot – the application and the declaration are filled out on the spot.
Online: Completed and scanned Application and Declaration for Change of Names (if applicable).
The documents are downloaded from the attachments at the end of the instructions.
Original and photocopy of the diploma, depending on the application requirements for the relevant major. When documents are submitted on-site, an original of the diploma and a photocopy of it are presented, with the photocopy remaining with the recipient of the documents:
For specialties: "Nurse", "Midwife" and "Medical assistant" - "bachelor": original diploma and photocopy of completed secondary education;
For the specialty "Clinical health care"-"master"*: original diploma and a photocopy of completed secondary education or a "specialist" from a medical college with a professional qualification "Nurse";
For the specialty "Kinesitherapy" of the OCS "master" – original diploma and a photocopy of a completed higher education degree of "bachelor" in "Kinesitherapy". (There is no fee when applying for this specialty. Ranking is based on documents.)
Online: Scanned original diploma, depending on the application requirements for the relevant specialty (described in item 2).
Payment order for paid fee. The fee for taking the exam is BGN 70.00, it is transferred by bank transfer to the account of the Faculty of Public Health and is presented on the day of submitting the documents (on site).

From paying the exam fee under Art. 95 par. 7, items 1, 2, 3 and 4 of the Civil Code are exempted:
persons who are round orphans;
persons with permanent disabilities and reduced working capacity of 70 and over 70 percent;
war disabled and war injured;
persons who, at the time of reaching the age of majority, have a measure of protection taken in accordance with the Child Protection Act - placement in a foster family, a residential-type social service or a specialized institution;
Under reduced conditions and according to the order set by the rules for the activities of the higher education institution, they are accepted applicants under Art. 68, para. 3 of the Higher Education Institution, who successfully participated in the competitive exams:
ranked with the same score;
(amended - SG No. 17 of 2018) persons with permanent disabilities and reduced working capacity of 70 and over 70 percent;
(supplemented - SG No. 54 of 2014, in force from 01.07.2014) military disabled and war casualties;
round orphans;
mothers with three or more children;
twins, when they applied simultaneously to the same professional field and university, and one of them was accepted.
When ranking by majors:
Candidate-students from the category "persons with permanent disabilities and reduced working capacity 70 and over 70 percent" and "mothers with three or more children" compete with each other for 6 % of the places for regular admission.
Prospective twin students compete for 2% from regular admission places if they have indicated their desire at application.
When submitting documents for candidate students underArt. 68, para. 3 of the HVO, the originals of the necessary documents listed below are brought to the place, and when submitting online - they are sent scanned:
For round orphans – death certificate, certificate of heirs and a photocopy thereof;
For persons with permanent disabilities and reduced working capacity of 70 and over 70 percent - TELK's decision and a photocopy of it;
Military disabled and war injured - relevant certifying document;
For mothers with three or more children – birth certificates of the children and photocopies thereof;
For twins – birth certificates and photocopies thereof.

When enrolling for OCS "Bachelor" specialties - every newly admitted student wears the original oneyou arediplomaand a photocopy of it for secondary education.
When enrolling for Master's degree courses – every newly admitted student carries the original diploma and a photocopy of it for secondary education , as well as original and photocopy of your diploma for previous degree of higher education.
The photocopy of the diplomas it is not necessary to be notarized. After verification, the original diplomas are returned.

The admission of students to the Faculty of Public Health at the Medical University-Sofia is carried out on the basis of the Ministry of Education and Science's "Regulation on the State Requirements for the Admission of Students to the Higher Schools of the Republic of Bulgaria".
Students who have fulfilled their obligations according to the curriculum receive a diploma for completed higher education at the educational qualification level:
"Bachelor" - regular form of education in the specialties: "Nurse", "Midwife", "Physician's Assistant" and "Physical Therapy";
"Bachelor" - full-time and part-time form of education in the specialties: "Health Care Management" and "Public Health and Health Management".
"Master" - part-time form of study in the majors: "Public Health and Health Management", Strategic Management of Pharmaceutical Activity, "Clinical Trial Management", "Occupational Medicine and Workability" and "Health Care Management";
"Master" - regular form of training in a specialty "Kinesitherapy";
